EtsyTexasCrafters Store Info 

This is our team shop to which we can donate items in order to fund marketing materials, show fees, and anything else that will help promote Etsy in Texas.

How Store Items are Listed, Sold, and Shipped:

    1. Make an item – does not need to Texas-related.
    2. Take several good pictures and write a thorough description, including price and shipping information (fees, shipping service used, locations will send to, etc)
    3. Send the pictures and the description to Milly…
      1. Via convo to etsytexascrafters
      2. Via email to etsytxcrafters@aol.com (send pictures as attachments)
    4. If this is an item that is already listed in your shop, then all you need to do is send Milly a link to the item – she will contact you when she has downloaded the pictures & description and it is safe to delete the item from your shop.

    NOTE: You will NOT be sending the actual item to Milly!

    1. Milly will list the item in the ETC store.
    2. When the item sells, Milly will first contact the buyer to let them know who the item maker is and to expect an email/convo from them regarding shipping. She will then contact the item maker with the buyer info, and send them (via PayPal) the shipping fees paid by the buyer.
    3. The maker should then immediately contact the buyer with a shipping date.
  1. Package the item very well and ship it within 3 business days of purchase. We want to avoid any negative feedback! It is highly recommended that packages be sent with Delivery Confirmation whenever possible.
  1. Milly will leave feeadback for the buyer when the transaction is complete (which means, when the buyer has the item in their possession and is pleased with their purchase!)
 

Here’s what happens with the money:

  1. Milly receives the payment (PayPal payments to etsytxcrafters@aol.com account)
  2. Milly will be reimbursed for the Etsy fees (store account is “tied” to one of her credit cards!)
  3. The maker of the item will be reimbursed for shipping, as described in Step 6 above. (To do this, Milly will need your PayPal ID, so please include this information in the convo/email with the item pictures and description.)
  4. The remaining funds will be used to benefit our team via printing flyers and other marketing materials, assisting with show fees, and other stuff as agreed upon by the team.
